Zone Chairs needed for 2026/2027 Lions Year

Do you have a desire to expand your leadership within Lions? If you answered YES we have a position for you!

As we are just about 1/4 of the way through the 2025/2026 Lions Year our 2026/2027 Leadership is working on putting together our leadership team and are in need of Zone Chairs for the following Zones.

Region 1A (Harrisburg, Middle Paxton, Millersburg, Paxtang, and Penbrook)

Region 1B (East Hanover, Hershey, Lower Paxton, Lower Paxton Township Lioness, West Hanover, and Lower Swatara)

Region 3A (Blain, Duncannon, Ickesburg, Landisburg, Marysville, New Bloomfield, and Shermans Dale)

Region 4A (Greencastle, Mercersburg, Rouzerville, Waynesboro, and Waynesboro Area Lioness)

Region 4B (Chambersburg, Greene Township, Lurgan Township, Mt. Parnell, Path Valley)

To be a zone chair you must

1. Be an active members in good standing in their respective region or zone.

2. Have served or will have served at the time of taking office as region or zone chair as president of a Lions club for a full term or major portion thereof and a member of the board of directors of a Lions clubs for no less than two (2) additional years.

3. have not previously served a full term or a major portion thereof as District Governor

4. Zone and region chairpersons may not serve for more than three (3) cumulative years in said position.

District 14-T Convention Rally to be held April 25, 2026 at Red Lion Hotel

District Governor Barb Dudek and our 2026 District 14T Convention Committee is proud to announce that our District 14-T Convention will be held on Saturday April 25, 2025 at the Red Lion Hotel in Harrisburg PA.

Last year after our Convention/Rally we came to our members asking for input on how we can improve and hope to increase attendance. We listened and hope you will attend and participate in a great lineup of precentors for the day.

Our 3 confirmed speakers for the 2026 convention will be

PDG Tom Gregg who will be giving us a hands on presentation on Lion Portal. Please bring along your electronic devices as this will be a hands on presentation.

PID Cindy Gregg will be giving us a presentation on Membership and the Lions International “Mission 1.5” program.

PDG Kerry McKnight from neighboring 14C will be giving us a presentation on the many educational opportunities that are available to ALL lions both in person and on line including the Lions University.

Our Keynote speaker for our Luncheon will be Nathaniel Deen who is the founder of the San Deen Foundation. Additional information on the Stan Deen Foundation can be found at www.standeenfoundation.org
