2019-2020 PA Counsellors Award

The submission form for the PA Counsellors Award is now available for this year.  If your club has someone that they would like to nominate, please complete the form and forward it to Immediate Past District Governor Keldeen Stambaugh.  This is a great way to recognize someone in your club who exemplifies our motto of “We Serve”.

Due to the need for these to be reviewed by IPDG Keldeen and DG Sam, we need your submissions by January 3, 2020.

The annual Eye School that is sponsored by District 14-T will be occurring on October 9, 2019 at the Hershey Country Club.  This is a great opportunity to learn more about diseases of the eye and healthcare for the eye.  There is no charge to attend, there are some nice refreshments, as well as some great giveaway items beyond the information shared.

District Governor Appreciation

Yesterday, our Immediate Past District Governor (IPDG) Keldeen Stambaugh held an event to express her gratitude to all who assisted her in serving our district in Lions Year 2018-2019.  We thank IPDG Keldeen for her leadership and know that she will continue to serve this year and beyond.

District Reorganization Held

District Governor Sam Wagner conducted our annual district reorganization and training session this past Saturday.  There were breakout meetings for training for club presidents, club secretaries, club treasurers, and zone chairpersons.  Before concluding, the attendees also shared information about fundraisers and service projects and Past Council Chairperson (PCC) Steve Benedict inducted our district officers.  Best wishes to DG Sam, Vice District Governors Cathy Baker and Peg Hummel, and all of our clubs for a great year ahead.

Here are a few more pictures from the event.

Congratulations DG Sam Wagner

PA Lions District 14-T congratulates our newest District Governor, Lion/PDG Sam Wagner from the Landisburg Lions Club.  District Governor Sam is in Milan for the Lions Clubs International Convention, and the ribbon pulling ceremony was completed earlier than expected.

We all wish District Governor Sam all the best in this coming Lions Year!

PA Lions for Care for Kids

As a reminder, MD-14 has created a challenge to raise $100,000 for the Four Diamonds Fund to find a cure for Pediatric Cancer. The PA Lions have committed their support and encourage individual clubs to donate, as well as to encourage individuals in their communities to donate. The PA Lions Care for Kids has a separate website which individual districts and clubs can promote (such as through social media).
